Some conservatives are cheering the end of Jericho, which apparently took a big left turn in its second season (with apparently corresponded with a big downward turn in its ratings). I never watched it. My TV viewing habits are pretty minimal; therefore, I only really need one likeminded hero to identify with:
Though I'm still not sure why Hank named his dog after Mrs. Lyndon Johnson. Question to ponder: what other fictional TV characters are admired by YeahRighters?
Update: our friends at Google Ads are currently placing a Napolean Dynomite ad under this post. So I'd clarify that the post did not seek to endorse Napolean Dynomite as a fellow traveller... though it IS an interesting question. Is Napolean's Vote for Pedro in the movie similar to a vote for a Chavez/Morales style of charistmatic Latino populism? Or would Pedro bring a revolution more in sync with Simon Bolivar's real views (as an admirer of Jefferson, Montesquie and Smith)? O.K. class, discuss....

It's going back a long time, but Alex Keaton played by Michael J. Fox was a break-out politically conservative character - because they made him smart as well as self-centered, and MJFox did a great job in making him likable.
