Hollywood conservatives like David Zucker, Kelsey Grammer, Jon Voight, and Kevin Farley (yes Chris Farley's brother is conservative/libertarian) have banded together to make a spoof of Michael Moore, set to debut in October. Also in the mix are such luminaries as Leslie Nielsen, Gary Coleman, Kevin Sorbo (that's right Hercules), and Dennis Hopper. It just goes to show you every star is one failed Fox sitcom from the D list.

Really, when are we going to stop trying to spoof Micheal Moore, and actually give him some competition...

Ridicule is just as valid a weapon in this fight as any other,as long as it is backed up with something a little heavier. If something is ridiculous then it sould be made to look it.
If people enjoy this movie and pay to go and see it and it ends up making a profit then that profit can be spent making a harder hitting rebuttal to Mr. Moore's calumny.
Entertainment is an easy way into people's brains, and its one that we (as libertarians) haven't been all that successful at using. HOpefully this will turn that around.

In terms of competition for Michael Moore, I can't say I'm all that eager to find a fat, deluded, irrational conservative/libertarian to make bad movies that no one outside a certain echo-chamber sees willingly. That said, if you want a principled alternative I think John Stossel probably fits the bill, and has the added bonus of having a pretty large bipartisan weekly audience.
