Ben Silverman is Ryan Howard

Following up on Dawn's post, be sure to check out this video of Ben Silverman's appearance on Charlie Rose earlier this week.

Now, I granted I have a blood feud with Ben Silverman.  But this guy is clearly former Dunder Mifflin Vice President, North East Region and Director of New Media, Ryan Howard.  Watch the interview, then go back and watch Ryan's talking heads from Launch Party and Dunder Mifflin Infinity.  It's like Ben is doing an impression.

And as an aside, the interview closes with Ben talking about his goal being bringing back "smart television."   Ben's primetime lineup is dominated by David-Hasselhoff (Knight Rider remake and America's Got Talent), fat people struggling to jump (Biggest Loser), people picking boxes (Deal or No Deal), old women whoring around with young men (Lipstick Jungle), and half naked men fighting pirates (Crusoe).

If someone wants to explain what exactly about NBC Primetime screams "smart television" please let me know.  In the meantime I'll go watch Jerry Springer (apparently since he's on NBC primetime that makes me classy).
