Tonight marks the Season 3 premier of Friday Night Lights back on NBC and I am pumped! If you've never seen the show before (and considering the paltry ratings it gets, you probably haven't), you are in for a treat. I have yet to meet someone who has watched the show and doesn't like it. And if you aren't a football fan, rest assured that I have not heard one complaint that there is too much football. Last season was admittedly not its finest, but I've heard (from DirectTV watchers) that Season 3 is incredible. While there are certainly soap opera-esque tendencies of the show (everyone's really beautiful, they all date each other...) it's also one the most well-acted, realistic shows I've ever watched.
9pm EST on NBC! And you can thank me later.

Several people have told me that I would love this show. I should probably get on that..

I think seasons 1 and 2 are both online. Watch season 1 and maybe skip season 2. Season 2 isn't horrible, but there are a few plot lines that never should have seen the light of day.
