In lieu of an AK-style, detailed concert review, let me just say I concur with this review of last night's Wilco show, with Nick Lowe opening. It was amazing, breathtaking even, with Wilco at it's most abstract and experimental, Jeff Tweedy as the eternal sonic explorer. That approach would fail miserably in many venues, but the show last night was in a relatively small hall blessed with some of the best acoustics in the country. The light and stage show was also mesmerizing, adding to the sensory overload. It was the last show of a short tour for Jeff and the boys, and now they're going home, via Chicago. But they'll tour again soon in support of the new Wilco album, and you won't want to miss this show.
