Now, an observation that comes from my recent Thanksgiving travels to the not-so-great state of Florida. (Sorry Floridians, just my opinion.) My observation is this: cool songs can be made to sound much less cool when they are played over the intercom of a Baby Gap outlet. Sorry, Joy Division, you will never sound the same to me again.
Lastly, something for your "What the F?!?" file. Take a look at this photo that I took of a sign from a playground in Florida.
What does it say about our country that the equipment is appropriate for Canadians of 18 months, but Americans should wait until they're a full two years?! Unbelievable. But don't despair. I know an American gal of 17 months who handled herself quite well on said equipment.
