They're hideous.


Very annoying and that's just from watching on TV. I can only imagine how bad they are in person.


For me, part of the fun of watching a big time soccer game is listening to the crowd noise, in particular, the singing. The vuvu drowns out all but the loudest singing. I was able to hear a bit of “Rule Britannia” and “God Save the Queen” on Saturday, but for the most part, it was just the buzzing, which was disappointing for me.


Yes, I can't believe anyone is watching with the volume turned on. Agree with all of the above. Soccer isn't that interesting to begin with, but it's absolutely unwatchable with the vuvuzela drone.
